[dev1213] Player Search - Could we get text commands on 1.20 too?

I was wondering if it'd be too much to ask for text commands such as

/sea all 25-40 region smn

(like on FFXI) would be possible to implement right off the bat?

I don't think I ever touched the search through the menu on XI and it really turned me off on XIV. I loathe dealing with menus and sub menus.

text command please!! its so much faster to /sea [restriction] [class] [level range] [area] !!

While I agree text commands would definitely be an awesome addition, it won't happen in 1.20. Maybe 1.20b at the earliest, but I sincerely doubt it.

I'd have to agree, but hope it will get implemented at some point.

I'd love a fast text command shortcut. The system looks pretty good though.

This system looks very similar to what is already in the game, just augmented, and people have complained the current system is convoluted and don't use it...

Yea I thought the whole reason people don't like party search feature to begin with was because you had to go through all these menus to use it.

This just seems like even more menus to me. Text command is definitely the way to go.

I guess the big improvement here is that there's no "reason to party" option anymore, that now all classes are listed and that the sub menus come with default all settings and a 5 level range; so you can just forgo the menus. At least that's how I understood it.
