Took a break from the game for about a year, came back for the free campaign. Logged in 3 days ago and played around for a few min, logged out. Now I am trying to log back in today and suddenly I am getting this message:
No valid service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV.
Please proceed to the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station (http://sqex.to/Msp) to confirm the status of your service account.
Free Campaign is still going on right? I certainly haven't logged 96 hours of game play. Not sure where to go other than here for get some help.

Yes the event is still going on but you don't get 96 hours of when you decide when you want to play. When you log in during the free trial event the 96 hour timer starts counting down, and your free time then expires at the end of 96 hours from when you logged in.
