Event idea! Might not be new, though.

So. This is my first time making a post on this forum. So..Hello.

Anyways, I was scrolling through Facebook and a memory came up of a Final Fantasy XIV event idea I thought of a couple years back. I thought I'd share it.

So, given that Dissidia for Arcade was announced a couple years ago, I was thinking that perhaps there could be an event where Cosmos and Chaos(Or whoever the new gods are) could have their fight in Eorzea using the players as Champions.

It could be a PVP event(*internal groans of discomfort*) and players could earn points which could be used to get prize, such as armor, themed furniture, and titles such as "Champion of -insert god you joined here-" Or who knows, maybe they could make it a PVE event and have you fight NPCs, I dunno.

But yeah. That's the event idea I had. Please let me know your thoughts. I also apologize if it doesnt belong here.

I can see that working. I can even see easy implementation with this:

The event is done in shatter. To participate, you speak to a npc that lets you choose whom you want to fight for (chaos or cosmos). You can still queue in with the GC of your choice or freelance.

Shatter takes place as normal with one difference: when any ice breaks, a manikin pops out of it. The manikin, just like in dissidia, is an a.i clone (for extra flavor, it takes the shape of whoever struck the ice, like Odin). When its defeated, points are awarded to both sides. The point system is the same as shatter.

When shatter ends, players are given special currency, which they can exchange for various dissidia paraphernalia (music, minion, etc)

I'm unsure if I've ever done Shatter. PVP isnt my thing tbh, but I HAVE been doing Frontlines to try and get the Garo Gear for when I hit level 60.

But yeah, I think it could be a fun thing. And your idea sounds extremely fun. Only question is if they'd be down for implementing it.
