Amazing game is amazing

Just wanted to drop a quick line to both the community and any developer or CM that might stumble onto this thread and say FFXIV is such a good game. I started playing it a little bit back in 2013 but am only now seriously devoting all my gaming time to it.

Simply put, I haven't felt this way about an MMO since vanilla WoW some 12 years ago. It's engrossing, engaging, immersive, and aesthetically beautiful to look at. I feel like the game takes you by the hand and leads you on a journey, but in a good way. It's not hand-holding like in a standard theme park way, it's more like, "Come along and see the world with us."

Progression is done organically as you unlock new zones on the world map and you can actually feel your character get stronger.

Agree. Only started in February after 6 years of "hard" core raiding in another game. In running the current content I can only guess at the fun progression was at appropriate gear levels. Really looking forward to bashing my toon's head against whatever Stormblood brings :D

Agreed! I haven't had this much fun in an MMO since the early days of EQ2.
