Healer Class Idea

So, I was thinking that a cool healer class would be a class where you could "link" to other party members or monsters.

The class would start as having a mix between CNJ and BLM spells, and would include spells like Cure, Cure 2, Resurrection.

Later on, like around 20, it would get a skill called Link. The healer would target a party member and press this. The person they link with would get all the buffs the healer has, and the healer would get all the buffs. The only downside to this is debuffs would also happen for the healer. If they link with a tank, their HP would increase for as long as they are linked. If they link with a DPS, their damage output would increase. If they link with another healer, their healing output would increase. This link could also add a few extra spells.

There could also be a spell to remove buff effects from all party members at once, but the healer would then receive one of those removed at random. They could also switch debuffs among party members.

If the healer linked with a monster, the monster would recieve the debuffs the healer has and the healer can absorb HP with the damage they do.

A "final solution" spell would also be nice, like if the healer is the only party member left alive, they can sacrifice all of their HP to revive all party members at 25% health and with a 5 second shield.

I'm a big fan of Linker from Tree of Savior, so this could be a very interesting skill to implement on, say, AST in particular. They already have Synastry, so linking skills could fit.

Even something as simple as linking two (or more) party members together to have one shared HP pool has proven to work in other MMOs and have lots of useful applications. It's usually almost too good, but balancing can be done.

Speaking of Linker, a skill that links mobs together to share the damage THEY take would tickle my fancy quite well. It could even share debuffs, as you say, so classes that can't multidot can save some GCDs and have higher damage.

Mediator, from Final Fantasy Tactics comes to mind, not necessarily about the linking so much, but their connection from buffing/debuffing enemies, charming, or flat our forcing monsters to join your squad permanently, and boosting/boasting party members to perform way better over time. As a healer, i could see this working, with the linking mechanic, as a ff14 touch to Mediator from Tactics.
