Aren't trials a waste of resources?
I've done the Warring Triad for a total of 2 times each. One each character.
Since SE removed all rewards from hard mode primals, I've never queued for them directly.
Meanwhile, Trial Roulette almost always puts me at an ARR trial (understandable, being part of the early MSQ). The rare HW trial is one of the MSQ such as Thordan. And, to be quite honest, if I had the option I'd only do the ARR trials.
At first I thought that fighting Nidhogg, Fenrir, Diabolos and Siren as a "mere" dungeon bosses was bad, but now I see the value on it. Roulettes often put me on those dungeons, and facing them at the end of a dungeon is a more immersive experience.
Can't we just get rid of trials and place future primals in dungeons? It somewhat baffles me that the likes of Zurvan have two arenas and two forms, meanwhile content that is repeated over and over for gear such as Alexander was barebones; and, according to mrhappy's interview, they can't add more turns...
Controversial, I know.
