Too many things are more worth everyone's time than Guildhests. Why? More Experience to be general. So why not increase the Experience rewards for Guildhests? Make them more worth doing than they are now and perhaps they wont be so neglected.

They heard you, they decided to make matters worse and limited the leves to like 2 a day, sometimes two hours. so now you have nothing to get your points up except slug away a few poins every day and take a year to get to Heavenward with a new char. !!!
They're talking about Guildhests, not Leves, two different things... >3>
Go back to raging in one of your own threads... >3>
To go with the subject at hand, Guildhests were designed to act like tutorials and practice missions in a party. They pretty much got dump this once they made the Hall of the Novice. You can get a bonus from Guildhest though, if you run them as a class/job that you haven't beaten that Guildhest as yet.
Typical immature behaviour and reply, when did you leave Kindergarten?
How comes it only took me a few weeks when I last leveled a new char and that it takes even less to level a new job from 1 to 60?
Hmm.... Beware, spoiler alert!
You are doing something 'wrong'.
It is not really wrong, since you can play like you want, but you are doing things different than intended by the devs. Therefore your way is less efficient.
Frankly, I love guildhests. When I was new to the game, I couldn't wait to see what the next one was going to be. A shame that they stopped at level 40, and that they never added more. Adding better rewards to the guildhest roulette (tomestones or whatever) could help, but I think that making new guildhests all the way to high levels with high tier items for reward (gear, orchestrion rolls, exclusive minions, etc) could help a lot.
In starting a new character I was really disappointed they stopped with the guildleves too. I like a short 5 minute battle with other peeps.
I kind of miss them as well.
As teaching tools, they should be there to do things like the 2nd Bardam's Mettle boss, and introduce more boss mechanics at later levels.
I never really felt that they worked very well as teaching tools. Most of them just turn into massive flustercucks with little opportunity to understand how to handle the mechanics presented.
