AST Relic stats with non-Melding.

I don't plan to meld any gear, I am just going Shire gear but since I have to pick stats for my Anima relic weapon, I'm trying to find out what to pick. I've asked a few people but want to see what others think and maybe I can get an average of what most think.

Notes: I don't really PvP, I mean I do sometimes for lores... but that's it. I don't really do Savage mode stuff, but I do enjoy some Extreme primals from time to time.

So I basically do normal stuff, dungeons, 24-player raids, trials, roulletes, Aquapolis. Never tried Diadem so dunno if that matters.

So based off that, what does everyone think I should put my 240 points into and why? Thank you very much for the help.

Edit: Also as stating in the topic title, non-melding. I don't really do melding on my gear so dunno if that will make a difference in picking stats for my relic.

If you're not doing Savage content, just throw it all into Crit Rate and Spell Speed (and maybe Piety if you think you're gonna have MP issues or Acc if you want to add DPS during EX Primals). :B
You don't need to worry about Min-Maxing stats unless you're doing Savage.

I don't get it - you spend so much time farming the relic (which will be 100% useless for the content you're doing) but then won't do any melding (which again, is kinda pointless for your content), even though they're free stats for no effort?

Melding isn't free, I'd need the Materia and that stuff can be expensive. I'm doing the relic because I'm bored and want to just have a goal before the expansion. As such, I needed to pick stats since it'd be odd to just randomly through the 240 points anywhere.

It actually is free, since you get free materia from Dun Scaith once a week. I don't think I've paid anything for my fully melded SCH and SMN apart from the meld fee, which is nothing.

If you're doing current extremes, you probably want to meet the accuracy cap (592 for casters).

Well, melding aside what would be a good allocation of my stats and I mean I do some extremes, like I haven't even attempted anything from Thordian and after. Basically, I have stats to use, rather put them where they'd be best used even if I don't do savage mode stuff.

Well, Dervy hasn't tested AST stat weights, but based on this, I would go with Crit and SpS. But if you consider you might want to try the easier Savage fights or HW primals, I would go with Crit and Acc.

Hmm, if I was to meld materia and I had all 270 Shire gear (and an Ultima ring) what materia should I go with?

I heard there are also people out there who make Relics/Animas for story or/and glam... but I think it's just a rumor... :o
