[Suggestion] Free Companies Headquarters (PvP Content)

Hello everyone, with the future implementation of Free Companies and PvP, i was thinking about an endgame content based on Ragnarok Online War of Emperium. For these who dont know how it work, once or twice per week, you have to defend your castle or to siege it. at the end of this event, if you control the castle you will have it as a base, with some features like an own dungeon, treasures every day, etc.

[SIZE="6"]1. Introduction[/SIZE]

The Empire menace is increasingly larger, city-states and their Grand Companies havee not enough power to stop them and decided to hire a group of mercenaries under the same flag to have a chance against The Empire. the Free Companies have born

First of all this is a PvP content and FFXIV is not based or will be not PvP oriented. This content must not be a great advantage to these who want to play it, but in the other hand you have to be rewarded in some way. So every thing you will see here, will not interfere in the PvE content.

This content is based on a city area where there are only some headquarters, each city will have one of this Areas and the numbers of headquarters per city is undefined (need population study). For example in Uldah, we need a map exclusively for this, and expandable, if is needed to add more headquarters because too much Free Companies try to get a headquarters. So something like a great street, full of buildings where SE can add easily HQ just opening a door or two to create new HQ.

The background can be that each city reward the best Free Companies (FC) with a Headquarter to improve their trade agreement fighting Imperials. To choose who are these FC, every week, a tournament is opened to defend or attack Headquarters.



[SIZE="6"]2. Leagues[/SIZE]

Every Free company can join a single group of 3 Free Companies called League. Leagues have not names, they are just a contract between 3 FC with a non-aggression pact. When 2 FC Masters decide to establish this pact, automatically they have an union to fight their enemys. A Third FC can join this League but must be accepted by both FC masters.

When you attack a Free Company, you are attacking a League!



[SIZE="6"]3. Requisites[/SIZE]

Is posible that if this event is free to join, lots of people want to go just for going, overlagging the zone server for nothing. For this reason i think some prerequisites are needed to evade lots of voyeurs.

• Level 50
• Headquarters district pass (Obtained after completion of a Free Company Quest, pve content like a dungeon for example)
• Tournament Sign up (Your Free Company leaders have to sign before you can join this event)

[SIZE="6"]4. Goal[/SIZE]

In the heart of the headquarters exist a NPC called Master, this one is friendly with defenders and enemy to those who are assaulting. Master have some habilities like an NM, he can be healed, buffed etc by defenders.

The goal is to down Master under 5% once this happens, he will admit defeat and name the assailants, the new owners in the HQ, all defenders magically be expelled because of their weakness and inability to defend. HQ will be imposible to assault for the next 5 minuts (Master healing and new FC to get positions)



[SIZE="6"]5. System and Rules[/SIZE]

On weekends, Three tournaments will start (Each one for specific timezones) this way the server will be not overpopulated in a single hour, and each timezone will have their event. Each city will have Headquarters for each tournament (A, B and C), but your Free Company only can sign for a tournament per week (this way is imposible to one Free Company to try to get a Headquarters in Tournament A, if they cant, then they go B, etc.) But you will be able to help your League friends (League explained in next point) on any tournament. (Sign is only to limit your trys to get a HQ per week) For example:

Tournament A: Saturday from 13:00 to 14:00 GMT (Asia)
Tournament B: Saturday from 20:00 to 21:00 GMT (EU)
Tournament C: Sunday from 3:00 to 4:00 GMT (USA)



A League with 1 USA, 1 EU and 1 Japanese Free Companies.
JP Free Company will try to get a Headquarters on Tournament A and EU & USA players from their league can help them. 6 Hours later, EU Free Company will try to get a Headquarter on Tournament B, and USA & JP players online can help them... (Improving social between regions.)

A League with 3 USA Free Companies
They will work together on the same Tournament Attacking and defending diferents Headquarters. For example defending a HQ in Uldah, and attacking 2 HQ in gridania (Only 1 hour event but more strategic going where your league is weak)



Rules:

• Each FC can only have a single Headquarters, but you can assist your League to attack or defend another one.
• Players will automatically droped from their party and assigned to alliance faction when they enter on a headquarters under attack.
• People cannot be raised, these who are killed will be teleported automatically to the street, outside of the Headquarters
• On the way to the Master Room (where Master is, obvius), you can find another rooms with Aetherial nodes. You can travel between nodes under your control.
• Free Companies Prime Avatar summoning is forbidden (if they implement this)
• Crafters can build war machines to assault.

[SIZE="6"]6. Rewards[/SIZE]

To keep safe your Headquarters is a difficult job. So many leagues will try to assault you to use it as their HQ. But why to keep it? why to try every week to defend your HQ? here some posible rewards to keep it safe.

• All Free Company basic housing features.
• Master can Repair 100%
• Trophy Museum (Archivements will be visible by HNM heads on walls, Bones, Fishbowl for Legendary Fishs, cups, etc)
• Free Company gear (Something like capes with your emblem)
• Free Company Airship (Personal Airships to travel far away)
• a Minstrel (can play diferent BGM for your HQ area)
• Personal houses transfered to your HQ (Rooms with better furnitures, decorations etc for walls, floor, etc.)
• Aetheryte Crystal (to save your point there. Unable under assault)
• More Free Company Quests
• Market Wards Access
• Diferent exits for each city zone
• Free Company members ladder (with defending stats: Kills, deaths, etc)
• Stables (and city exit)
• Social Rooms with minigames (something like Draughts, chess, etc)
• Garden

[SIZE="6"]7. Map[/SIZE]

Headquarters maps must be big enough to a player without obstacles run to the Master Room in some minuts. Corridors, rooms, a Garden, etc. Without zones. (Too bad to be ganked people when you are zoneing) Master room must be something big, enough to 40 players.
