I Look Like Ifrit Now

I'm all for updating websites and changing things to freshen stuff up...but why did SE feel the need to give us avatars that look nothing like our characters?

I enjoyed seeing my character's face, as well as some of the amusing or very well created characters of other people. Now we're all just primals : /

Any way to change this?

Okay even if this is the reason why it's not...you know...funny. Would have been funnier if we all looked like Hildibrand or something like that.

Past years we've had the sane thing. Once we were all Yoshi-P in one shape or form. They do the sane thing every year but still change it up.
