Achievement ideas!~
We all know that the achievements will bring titles. Though, will those titles bring something to us? I am talking about stats here people! I think it would be cool if titles gave us some stats. Example: Adventurer Association Assistant; Maximum HP+3, Maximum Stamina+12. You only get those stats when you equip that title. Though you can only change a title once a day/week or something. Give your achievement ideas!

Too much stat management, not enough gameplay. IMHO, no thanks.
We have (or will have):
Stat Allotment
Gear Management
Materia Management
We don't need to juggle anymore stats.
I wouldn't mind if they did this but in the form of certain affinities with game mechanics. For example, this achieve/title can grant you xx% resistance to Sleep (or Stun, or what-have-you). Things of that nature, eh, not so bad.

There was a thread from months back started by Jynx, I believe, that talked about implementing an achievement system and what type of things that we'd like to see. And I always liked the idea of gaining permanent, albeit small, bonuses to your character for accomplishing certain achievements. My ideas revolve around my OCD type of behavior in games, earning tiered rewards for killing so much of a certain type of creature.
For example, killing 250 Coblyns, gives a character a small defense bonus against coblyns. The next tier, I get a small attack bonus, the next better drop rates, etc.
This tickles my fancy.

I started posting a response after you created this topic (I'm the sole +1 so far), but then decided it ultimately wouldn't work out. My idea was to have titles be unique, so that no one can have the same title, but the amount of titles they'd have to create and the reasons for obtaining those titles would be a logistical nightmare.

I'd rather stats not be linked to titles, so I can use the titles I like, rather than the ones that give me a certain relevant stat.

well the stats would be minimal, in mabinogi, I just equipped the title that I liked best. So, it wouldn't be detrimental in anyway. I also hope they don't give out how to achieve these titles. That way we have to go out and find them ourselves.

The thing that has me on the against side for stats attached to titles is as follows.
No mater how minor the boosts are there would be one "Best" title to have. No mater how you slice it that's just how the min max crowd works. There would be little to no variety on the titles players chose to use. and players would be looked down on by others for not having "the best" title available. And you just know that the best stats would be attached to some horrible title, Something the equivalent of Jerky poo face.
