Free trial for PS3 unavailable?

My brother and I were excited to play FFXIV together since the free trial is no longer time limited and he doesn't have his own account. We have a PS4 and I dusted off our PS3 only to find out the free trial doesn't work for the PS3?

When you attempt to use a free trial it asks what platform you want to play on: PC, Mac, and PS4 are available.

I also followed instructions on this page: http://support.na.square-enix.com/fa...5382&kid=70929

But could not find the FFXIV "game page" on the PS Store.

Sadly I have upgraded my account from PS3 to PS4 in the past so I can't just play my account on the PS3 while he sets up a free trial on the PS4.

Am I doing this wrong or was the PS3 free trial taken down?

PS3 support is ending in June when Stormblood launches so they probably have taken the PS3 trial down.
