Explanation please...Botanist Achievement not working

I posted a Bug Report and it has since been moved into "Working as Intended" with no explanation. How is this working as intended when it is not working? The achievement states to gather 230 unique items on botanist and as I stated in my original post, (see copy and paste below), I have gathered over 260 unique items...well over the threshold.

Can someone please explain how this is working? I'm fine with you saying it's working if you can reply to the post and tell me how and if there is something else I am supposed to do.

Not sure if this is considered a bug, but not sure where else to post this. I did a search using "Bot Achievements", but nothing regarding but all that came up were game bot things.

The problem is...I always keep up to date as much as possible with crafting/gathering logs. Recently some new achievements with rewards were given.

Specifically, an achievement called, "I Found That: Botanist V". It states to gather and record discovery of 230 unique items as botanist. I have completely gathered my gathering list. I counted all the items and it is over 260, yet I am still showing stuck at 229. Is this a known issue? How can I get my achievement to register?

Any items that can be gathered by both BTN and MIN do not count towards those achievements for whatever reason. You are likely missing something from one of the folklore books to get the achievement.
