Is it me paranoid or activation rate for gathering abilities decrease with each level you gain?
Im on my way to max last gathering job, (Mining) and still after lots of changes for gathering i see no changes for abilities activation rate.
At lvl 40 i get ability proc like once every 50-100 successful/failed gathering attempts. But for lvl 20+ they proc like every 5-15 gathering attempts...
I can spend whole day gathering (10 hrs) at lvl 50 and see like 5-8 abilities procs.
Its very depressing.
Can't remember how it was on my early levels, but right now every time an ability procs i'm like "OMG i've got DoL abilities too! °-° totally forgot about them"
since last patch abilities just are really low, except for fingerprints of the gods.
I also forgot I ever equipped them. I remember thinking that Fingerprint of the Gods maybe went off on two nodes so far. Then I think I attributed it to leve nodes, so I went off to find non-leve nodes for a couple hours and of my traits, only Sharp Vision triggered.
Anyhew, will try to continue the mining bid and hope for more catalyst. Maybe update my gear post patch with the HQ adjustments and removal of dye for the base recipes.
I get catalysts everywhere i turn, make sure you are in a zone where you can actually get catalysts. Also fingerprints of the gods does not trigger in leves
