Just wondering for those who have done relic

When you're at the part for crystal sands and umbrite. When you get to the halfway point how many does it go up by?
Does it get a buff now to do more points?
Is it still the same like 5 or 6

It is random. Most of them will still be +3 but you can get bonuses that give you +4 to +6.

It stays at the same with chance at bonus.

I barely got any bonus when i did mine. Low low chance or I am very unlucky.

as others mentioned there is a chance to get bonus. Out of all the relics I did (3 total), I got 10 times bonus throughout all 3 weapons and it was just +4. Never got more then that. Make sure you fill one bar fully before attempting that 3rd stat, or you wont see any bonus at all. Some people add lets say 50 Crit, then the next 30 into Det etc. I have no idea why but apparently that sounds more logical too some. I saw my first bonus after I completed crit and 1/4 through the det.

Edit: make sure you are turning in more then one sand/umbrite . Not sure if it matters, but I was luckier every time I would turn in a stack of 3 or 5+.

I saved 5 umbrites (+15 bonuses total) for first relic and 0 for second. I collected 40 umbrites and sands first to fill one stat in one go, and ~35 umbrites and sands after for second stat. And after that I filled up the rest.

Same. I think the max amount of Umbrite needed was 80 and mine still took something like 77 or 78. I wasn't really in a rush to complete it so it didn't bug me, but I wouldn't bank on cutting it much shorter than the maximum of 80 per relic, tbh.

I think all four (4) of mine took around 73-75 each. I know the SMN one, that I just finished was 75.

At 300 lore a piece I would take any bonus.

I actually had a lot of bonuses during my third relic (Bard), but the other two relics I did before the +6 bonus and the half price umbrite were added
