Dun scaith curious thought/discussion

So Scripture is now raised to 900, Alex the creator has had lock outs on entry and gear removed, the things that kind of validated keeping dun scaith capped in my opinion are null/void, This is just my thoughts and find it weird that it is still capped..but I am curious what everyone else thinks, This is just my opinion and thoughts and should no way reflect others, nor will the idea be forced..I just found it odd.

People will still run Dun Scaith for the mhachi mats as not everyone raids, so they still need to upgrade shire gear through those. Proto accesories with better stats for some jobs aswell. And my guess is, if we get a last minor patch before 4.0, they will probably add weapon upgrade item from those mhachi exchanges aswell.

I still believe I have a better chance of clearing all three 24-men raids than Alex Savage.

Loot lockout removal means nothing to a casual like me who has no chance of clearing it.

That's the point though, I mean the gear drops itself, most savage raiders will be getting the 270 stuff, ..not much reason to keep dun scaith capped now.

I'm betting it's just an oversight.

Because Dun Scaith still offers free T5 materia and an i270 every week.....for running a casual raid?

Where as Savage is raid tier, which also still requires T5 materia....

Rule of thumb for the casual raids are usually either by the next raid or mayor patch that they remove the limits on it. Probably round the time of early access they may lift it.

OK, but I have to imagine they can unlock the gear even while leaving the Mhachi matter locked. It's 260 gear, so it's not exactly great. It would be nice to be able to gear some alts a bit and collect glamour before Stormblood.

Honestly though, while I realize value depends on server, battle V's of any kind are not particularly valuable as it is and there are a plethora of ways that are uncapped to get them, such as Diadem or PotD.

I'm also hearing the upgrade item from savage was uncapped as well but idk if true...and yeah I forgot that Diadem is also a thing that like..gives gear.

^ This lock-out removal only really affects raiders.
