I understand many don't like the lastname thing but we are forced to input one.
Maybe developers don't like it either anymore but it's a hard thing to make everyone reinput their names andmaybe go in conflict with others.
My suggestion is to keep the lastname but make it optional to display it or not. Easy!
What do you guys think?
