[Spoilers] About the "final" boss of this game...

So we learn that the summoning of Zodiark is the Ascian's ultimate goal. I pondered if facing Zodiark was going to come into one of these three ways:

-Something like Main Scenario

-Raid

-Trial

I feel like there might be a raid first, to deal with every last possible Ascian who are going to be "important" enough to summon Zodiark and then a trial facing the latter.

Whichever way SE picks, I just hope its not locked behind a suddenly steep ilvl requirement like final steps of faith. It was so...out of nowhere-for better lack of words-that I remembered that I actually had to buy gear to fulfill the requirements, which in my opinion shouldn't have happened from a msq standpoint.

it is most likely going to be a Trial boss.

They tried to make the finale of 2.0 a long mini-raid dungeon but it did not turn out as well since they wanted to tell both a story and finale boss battles at the sametime. Thus the change in 3.0 finale being a dungeon for the first part involving little amount of story as possible during the dungeon and then having the Finale boss as a trial.

its going to be a 72 man frontline raid, witha diadem timer, super world boss with changing landscapes at each phase

like the original stepss of faith, dying will just let you continue at the beginning area, cause hydalen, and there will be waves of adds and meteor mechanics, for fun there will be dragon killers and bertha cannons one could use for extra dmg or slowing mob waves down, etc. Pure chaos until the end.
gon get wolf marks for it. and some tomes, some mgp and some hunt seals for doing it.
