Hello!
I have read from other people they have a similar issue about the game uninstalling itself yet nobody has a fix for it. I boot up the game, have to redownload the steam file and then I gotta re-download the steam client.
I was wondering if there is anybody that knows a fix it would be helpful for me in future cases and for other people in general to have a known fix.

But even those with the steam version end up having the same issues :(
It's a setting that needs to be addressed with Steam, they gave my brother the run around, so he installed physical copy no more problem. have you reached out to Stream? Maybe they got their act together and have a fix.
Are you trying to use Steam's verify files feature by chance? That would roll it back to 2.1 (latest version Steam has) which would basically require redownloading the entire game and the having to download every update since then which might be what you're experiencing?
