New Classes yes! But what about its old model of mixing into a custom class?

What do you all think?
For those who dont know what I'm talking about....this games old devs originally had the idea of combining class abilities to make your own "custom class"...and this was the basis of the whole class system.
Now that it in manys eyes failed, including SE...and they stated their going back to FF root classes...do you think they'll bother with this method at all or just to a point like FFXI or tactics (I think tactics kind of did that as well)?

I honestly hope not. MMOs are time consuming enough, I just want to pick a class that suits me best and level that up...instead of go through 3-4 different classes to make it. Granted some methods would be cool...like for say to unlock paladin you'd have to level warrior to an extent and whm....but in all honesty for me at my age now it would just be annoying as a gamer whos game time isnt what it use to be. Still though I'm not as selfish as I lead on to be...>.>...and so I do hope kind of they do that for the newer generation.

That being said heres a quick model just for fun to post. Feel free to make your own

Assuming the base classes are like FFXI/FF (with the exception of RDM)
Base classes:
Warrior
Whm
Blm
Thf
Mnk

Custom Classes
Warrior + whm = Paladin
Warrior/Thf + Blm = Dark Knight
Blm + Whm= Redmage
Mnk + Thf = Assassian
Mnk + War = Dragoon
ect

Although if you wanted to make it really and needlessly interesting. You could add level mixture. Something of a solution form of the classes, where one class is the solute and the other is the solution.

Like say

level 30 Warrior + level 15 Whm = Paladin
Level 15 Warrior + level 30 Whm= some form of a whm but with a weak sword
level 30 warrior + 15 blm = paladin
Level 30 blm + 15 warrior= Some form of Blm but with a sythe/dagger (like how blm had a few weapons with those in FFXI)
Level 30 Blm + 30 Whm = Rdm (now with this you could do something interesting...if whm is higher then blm at all or vise versa...it would greatly tip the power scale of the rdm over one type of magic or the other)


Heck you could even mix mixed classes with other mix classes down the road...but thats where I think it would go too far.

edit- please dont focus on what = what on the model. I admit it sucks (like mnk+thf = assassian), it was just on the spot and the idea to focus on is well...the idea of the model itself.
