"PvP mode" hotbars setup

It will be nice have a "pvp set" of our hotbars, as long as pve and pvp are two different worlds, I'd like being able to setup all my bars for "pvp mode".

Something like gear sets, but made for hotbars ;)

or... as we already today can do our setup for each job, making 'job' and "pvp job" two different sets.

It would definitely be convenient. I have macros set up to switch my hotbars between PvE and PvP but having an in-built option would make it heaps easier.

Yep, also have macros to swap between PvE and PvP modes... though they ostly go unused as I don't even PvP much.
It would really be nice to have an in game function for this, though :/

Please direct your attention to hotbar settings, it's already in the game.

I think you had misunderstood what I am requesting. If not please add more meaningful words to your sentences and tell me how I achieve what I asked for, by existant ingame features, apart macros for it.

No, hotbar settings does not do that.

I think it's a bit confusing what you want. For me, it's already working. I use two PVE-only hotbars (controller user) normally. When I'm in a dungeon, I can toggle between those two bars freely. When I'm in a PVP area, I can toggle between two completely different bars which I've configured optimally for PVP situations. Zero macros involved. My extended buttons are used for situational abilities I need in both PVP and PVE.

This is a million times better than the way it used to work where I had a special PVP-only bar with more core skills but had to use various gymnastics in between abilities to switch to the right bar any time I needed to use a non-essential spell.

(I actually have two different gearsets as well, as I prefer different gear when I'm healing in PVE and when I'm PVPing.)

i think Lalaru was asking for something like hotbar binding profiles.
like layout of skill at hotbars.

Yep, maybe I were no good on wording correctly what I meant.

To put it simply, when you change job now the skill bars changes to the set for that job, and what I'd like, is being able to have something like that when the job is used for PvP or not. A complete new set to fill the setup for pvp.
