Can't Log In

I'm getting a "Unable to check version" error when I try to log in on the PS4. Anyone else getting this error?

Isnt the game down for maintenence today?

Servers are currently up.

Give it a bit longer, it will come back up around 2AM PST.

So there was apparently a system software update to the PS4. I thought that might be the problem but after updating i'm still getting the "unable to check version" errors.

Have you tried closing the application and opening it again? When it checks for the launcher version on PS4 it should automatically update and restart the application for you, then there's a very small patch when you log in.

Several times now sadly. I've even tried restarting the PS4.

And when it checks the launcher version it loads up okay or is that when it's throwing up the error message?

Just out of curiosity, what version is currently running? Should be 4.75 if you check your PS4 notifications.


Edit: Sorry if I'm not being much help right now, I'm not much of a technician haha ;p

It's not updating the launcher I guess is the problem. It just goes straight to the Log In screen. When I enter the info and hit Log In that's when I get the errors.

Hmm that's super strange since it should automatically detect that it's an old version! But yeah your launcher needs to be updated, unfortunately I'm not sure how to force the update D;
