3.55 Main Scenario?

So has there been any word about the Main Scenario for 3.55?

next patch near the end of march. this one is diadem 2.0 and other fixes

So, we are getting 3.55c later? What kind of patch cycle has this become?

3.6 is the next patch

3.56, there is no 3.6 as that would be a major patch, and 3.5 was the last major patch.

As se has stated 3.0 series will end on patch 3.55 no more past till Jun 23rd stormblood 4.0 so begins season 3 if you will.

The only reason why there's a 3.55a and a 3.55b is because of a last minute gamebreaking bug popping up in the revamped Diadem, so instead of delaying the entirety of 3.55, they only delayed the Diadem part of it.

Next patch will be 3.56, which will include the next part of the MSQ.

Except they've stated that patch 3.56 is slated for release in March.

That is rather a pain to hold the last half of 3.5 Main Scenario for 3.56 update.

Was there issue involving the Omega side of 3.5 MSQ or was it that they hoped holding it back long enough would make people feel the wait for 4.0 shorter.

There's going to be like 3-4 more baby patches to tide us over exactly for the reason you said. Trickles of content to not make it seems like the wait is too long

Past experience implies there might be a trial in the MSQ like with Before The Fall Part 2. A scene from the trailer showed Nero discussing with Raubahn and others what looked like "That movement came from Omega! That things operational!". You might recall seeing Nero working on something in The Far Edge of Fate 1. Otherwise I'm not sure what to expect for 2.56.
