Seasonal Event Idea--Cultural Appreciation Holiday

By now we know that many players have asked for hairstyles, starter-clothing and hempen clothing to be made universally available, but Yoshi has expressed hesitation for fear of reducing cultural significance and watering down racial diversity.

But really, what do we know about the various racial cultures? Simple truth is, the game itself contains relatively little real information about the histories and cultures of some races, so sometimes it seems that the only thing we have to consider diversity is the clothing or hairstyles, which is a bit shallow.

So I propose a new holiday event: a Cultural Appreciation event. The point would be to let players run through quests that firmly detail significant aspects of any given Eorzean race, and then rewarding them by way of racial gear, or dance or hairstyle.

This could be a way to promote some more substantial racial/cultural diversity, while giving the players what they've been asking for.
