Just got to the level 50+ content, any resources for the boss mechanics?

I feel like at this stage if you don't look up the boss mechanics beforehand for dungeons and stuff it's highly likely there will be at least one team wipe unless you get carried by others, or at the very least as a BLM i'll die easily. Is there a good site/resource for this? I tried looking around google but I always got different results for different bosses/dungeons/raids etc.

Agreed! I always look to see if she has a video up for any fight before I go into it the first time. If not, I have to watch a video from someone else, but MTQ is the best!

It's a very good idea to watch a video before going into new content, but I wouldn't call it critical really. Most content is overgeared so much that mechanics are often ignored beyond dodging the obvious AoEs. If a DPS does die during the fight, they'll usually get a combat rez, and even without the rez, it rarely results in a wipe... since the role is redundant until high end content with DPS checks. Of course, it would be embarrassing to die to mechanics, so be awesome and study up before hand!

Now what to do about roulettes when there are too many dungeons to actually remember and you randomly get one you haven't been to in a long while... so far I've been lucky enough to figure it out on the fly.

MTQ is my first call for any video content. I have a few others that I trust due to the quality of their video guides - Errik Reqqy is one. Ethys Asher is great for lore stuff, as are many others.

There are some you should avoid but I won't mention those as it's not fair.

It's better on some fights than others. I usually just Google and check out the first few non-video links. Sometimes consolegameswiki has the best guide, sometimes another site has a better one. ffxivinfo usually includes a map (even when it's lacking on other details). Seeing the layout in advance is nice, especially for new tanks.
