Controller not detected

I haven't been able to use any of my controllers with this game since I came back. I used to use my PS3 controller with MotionInjoy and it worked great, but now whether I'm using my DS4 controller, my Steam controller, or even my roommate's generic Xbox controller, under FF XIV's controller settings it says "Device not detected" and nothing works in game. These controllers all work with my other games, on this machine, so it's JUST FF XIV.

I really don't understand it, can anyone please help me? I much prefer playing this game with a controller to keyboard and mouse, if I can get ANY of them to work I'll be happy.
