are they nerfing these? HQ item yield [dev1240] spiritbond accumulation [dev1232]

I think to please the elite players, they will nerf these.

Before the HQ wasn't sure even if you use all HQ mats. Now, with synth reform, HQ item yield rate must be controlled by the mats yield rate.

Same thing with materia control, lots materia fly around in the market now. I think they will try to reduce it to make it's more rare or rewarding.

No they are making it easier to get HQ synth by using HQ mats.

And I suspect that spiritbond reforms will make bonding gear faster.

also i wouldnt call the hq change a nerf, or a buff

i think itl be harder to hq items at all without all hq mats when they get that in
but the hq will be more valuable at that point

They're making HQ mats rare because:

All HQ materials = HQ finished item

Also they're increasing the rate of spiritbond, not reducing it.

Oh cool I felt guilty to produce so many materia (3 sets body, head, belt, feet and hands) in one section of the wolves party at current rate. ~1hr But, come to think about it, friends also get lots exp and got ~4 levels. So, I guess it's fair.
I need to craft lots more before future SB party :D

Yea i think one of the common bits of feed back they got over on the jp side. Was that gear at least early on was not spirit bonding quick enough to match up with the next upgrade in gear. I think that's where the tweaks will be focused.
