It has been announced that FFXIII-2 will have DLC for this Ezio Costume. In my opinion, instead of one-time use in FF13, it would be better to add this into FFXIV content so we have some more goal to get this set of gears. It could fit either come as achievement prize, NM drop-craft, or raid content.
Or maybe for an AF set for the BLU Mage :p
Fits the FFXIV Theme IMO.
Intricately designed but still fits the medevil timeline that is FFXIV.

this kind of remind me of the one and only feature i like in DCUO, to be able to equip an equipment, but can still change the style to an item that you have equipp'ed before... xD totally awesome but yeah.. kind of off topic for me here.

thats so random to me! how is SE at all involved with assassin's creed?
the same assassin creed it's in league with soul calibur, which is by namco.
Why is SE putting this costume in at all? It's from an Ubisoft IP. It has zero tie ins with the Final Fantasy IP. They have so much Final Fantasy content to choose from for DLC, and they decide to go with Assassin's Creed by Ubisoft? They're not even in the same genre.
I think this is a HORRIBLE idea for XIV AND for XIII-2. Has the franchise lost all dignity?!
