Avoid FFXIV If You're a Zelda Fan - People Spoiling the Game in Chat

Just had BOTW spoiled for me in a party finder group. I'm still in shock. I've avoided everything that had to do with that game to have a perfect, fresh experience. I've even avoided watching the trailers and covering up Switch footage of Zelda with my hand when it's been on.

I never thought the ending/story/whatever would be spoiled in this game. It's not funny. It's not freaking funny.

Stay away from this game completely for a week if you're buying Zelda. Put your items on the market board, get some crafting done, set your status to /busy, and just avoid the new patch for a few days. I'm so unbelievably mad right now.

So because I'm an old school and new school fan of Zelda, I should stop playing FFXIV? Yeah....

I have to ask: was it a "Snape kills Dumbledore!" intentional spoiler, or were people just discussing the game?

But...the game isn't even officially out yet in any country

So... people who had already played the game were discussing it in a groupchat and you're mad about that...?
Dont get me wrong, I understand how frustrating spoilers are, but its actually common knowledge to avoid the internet for a while if you dont want to get spoiled. People are still allowed to have conversations - and its not as if they're standing in idleshire, shouting spoilers (at least I havent seen such a thing). Avoiding this game completly shouldnt be to difficult anyways if you're playing Zelda ;)

I maybe going to buy Zelda , i cant leave FFXIV . Will not leave my game because of some people saying things about Zelda coming next week .
I will just ignore them and not read. I see zelda in chat well i ignore :)

ahem im not sure what zelda has to do with FFXIV i mean u can be spoiled everywhere in any game :P

Not sure where the "discussing in group chat" thing came up. This was a blatant, out of nowhere, "Snap kills Dumbledore" comment.
