Music is continuously looping in heavensard areas which is getting very annoying. In ARR zones music plays and then stops for 3-4 minutes which is very good but in heavensward zones music is in continuous loop. I tried to disable loop in the options sound menu but that feature does not exist. I want to listen to the music but not like this. I want it like ARR.
Sadly that is 'working as intended' I'm afraid - ARR BGM not looping but fading out to long periods of ambient silence was a design choice which was not popular. Players constantly asked to have music changed to looping tracks which Masayoshi Soken (ARR's composer) accepted for future content, and so Heavenswards BGM loops constantly in zones.
There is no way to disable this either, it's just something you have to accept I'm sorry to say as it's how the game's music for the expansion has been programmed. The only way around it would be to go into your config menu and mute the BGM (but keeping sound effects active).
