More Off-Hand Gameplay for Every Class/Job?

the concept may sound odd by popular opinion, but i feel as if it could be a great opportunity to add some more gameplay to each class/job without an offhand weapon. there is also the benefit of role-play and play-style.

however, i must say that i have little to no knowledge of other classes/jobs so i am just going to give concepts of what i have experienced thus far. hopefully you guys and gals can follow-up from there.

the thought processes is simply imagining what an offhand for each class/job would be like.

for example, i have become rather fond of my main ninja/rogue class.

i have especially always imagined the Ninja/Rogue class to have an offhand machete/katana for a weapon that he/she would quickly unsheathe and use during certain combos. perhaps using them only through certain combo's like Aeolian and Dancing edge? the weapon itself would of course be placed on the player's back.

any thoughts or concepts others may want to share?

No thank you. Off hand would then mean needing to store more items with the already limited storage.

is THIS the only reason?

i know every concept has its downsides and risks, but is this seriously the only reason?

why the heck not, i say.

i may lack information, but i can tell that if all classes did have off hand tools, you would still have room in your offhand inventory. no big deal.
