Should work, as i believe some were able to use codes on PC from PS4 users.
Yeah, it should work just fine. Recruitment codes are put in on the subscription page in the mogstation, which im 99% sure is the same for everyone except for which platforms you have the licenses on.
The recruitment code does work cross-platform. The code ia account specific so as long as your friend uses the code before subscribing you'll be fine regardless of what game version he decides to play on.
