Fantasia Potion used, was not able to edit appearance

I bought a Fantasia potion a few days ago, used it to try out a different race. After I decided the appearance I chose was not the one I wanted, I bought another Fantasia. I logged in, removed all the armor, used the fantasia potion, then logged out.

Upon logging out, when the character screen loaded, I right clicked on my character, selected Re-edit character appearance, and was shown the options to change stuff around, but then saw the character appearance has been saved. This is where I saw it loaded one of my old character appearances, and was not able to change into something I wanted.

I don't want to use another $10 to change again, but I'd like to see what options can be done to just let me actually choose the character design I wanted with it. Thanks
