[DRK/WAR] Requesting your up to date crossbars!

Hey guys!

I posted this in a couple of other places, so if you've seen this before!

I haven't played this game in a long time (5~8 months, I can't remember exactly).

I'm looking for some advice if you all would be so kind.

I was a tank main. I use a controller. My crossbar for my WAR and my DRK is a huge mess and I have no idea how I ever managed. I want to get back to tanking.

Question #1: Can anybody who plays one (or both) of these jobs and regularly does end game content send me your crossbars for your controller? That way I have a base to customize from (or use directly, if I find it comfortable).

Question #2: Are macros still pretty bad to use?

Question #3: I'm on Balmung - Any suggestions how we could find an FC that'd be happy to help us (6 of us in total) get into end game content?

If you have your CDs on you cross bar, activate hotbar 2 so it's visible then from actions in the menu, drag and drop them to hotbar two, you can keep track of what's cooling down, how long left or what's ready for use

Common practice to bunch your combo skills in the closest proximity. This allows easier button pressing but that's entirely on you. I do groupings on buffs, combos, oGCDs. Else everything is a memorizing/comfortability issue.

It's only recommended to use macro for oGCDs, for DRK not recommended to bunch up oGCDs in 1 macro as you will often delay your GCDs. I only use Salted Earth macro to target and Defiance/Deliverance switch action macro.

i tend to have all combos in the squar, triangle, ect side where is more easy to move and keep fighting as i put all my buffs or ogdc on the arrows side, putting my agro combo on right and the dps ones on the left, having hard slash in the right let me use both shorcuts easily.

on the second bar i follow more or less the same, im use the expanded controls L2+R2.
whit this way i keep for example holding R2 starting a combo, so i can quick hold L2 too and use any of the buffs you can see, and tthen i go finish with a soul eater or delirium and have access to the rest of my ogdc easily.
i have dark arts in both sides so i can use it independ of what side of the bar i am, the rest is muscle memory, when i start a combo or doing agro combo i know i have salted earth, blood price, dark dance, ect, and when im doing a dps combo whit is almost all the time i have my blood weapon and plunge and dark passenger, but having hard slash in the other side i still can easily access to the other buff at the begining of every combo.

the vertical bars are just to see the recast of all the skills i can't see all the time, the only exception is the limit break where i use the mouse on it. and never use macros.

If you're WARing, you can save a couple button slots by swapping (Fell Cleave and Decimate) or (Inner Beast and Steel Cyclone) onto your bar whenever you change stances.
