use eye combo, then block combo if MT and alternate. otherwise, spam eye. Keep fracture up and refresh whenever 5 seconds are left, or less. You shold have provoke, convalescence, awareness, and internal release. Some will argue about second wind or flash, though I use flash as my preference. go look up xeno's warrior guide on youtube for everything you gotta know.

Mandatory Cross class skills: provoke, internal release, convalescence, and awareness. Optional/situational for the remaining slot; flash, second wind (obsolete with Equilibrium), mantra, featherfoot.

Do not refresh fracture with 5 seconds or less left. If you are going to fracture, you need to milk it out for it to be worth it. The principle idea with refreshing DoTs is that even if you clip on the refresh, losing DoT ticks from dropping it is just as bad if not worse. That is not true for Fracture. Fracture is only 300 potency (with the DoT portion not being effected by Storm's Eye). That is barely a potency upgrade over a WAR's standard rotation. If you are clipping the last tick or the last 2 ticks, it drops to 260 or 280 potency. At that point, you might as well not use it.
TBH, if you are just learning WAR, forget about fracture. Outside of making sure to fit it into your 9 GCD Berserk window, Fracture is such a tiny DPS upgrade that you should prioritize everything else first.
I also don't like flash. PLDs already want to avoid using it and they don't have numerous alternatives like WAR does.
Second Wind is a small heal but it's still functional especially if paired with Berserk. It also generates healing enmity when used so it can be used to grab aggro on add spawns from far away and boost your AoE enmity. In that function, it's better than Flash because while both don't have a directional or target requirement like Overpower, Second Wind has farther range. Equilibrium functions the same so between Second Wind and Equilibrium, I find that WAR doesn't need another enmity generator of that type.
