My brother and I purchased a new ps4 and was wondering how can we transfer our FFXIV account to the new ps4. Do we just do the system transfer from the ps4 settings or is there something else we gotta do? I tried looking it up on the internet. Especially square enix main website, but they have nothing on ps4 to ps4 transfer.
if you have playstation plus you can upload the FFXIV save files for your gearsets/UI (client side stuff) to the cloud. There are instructions online from playstation on how to transfer from one system to another. just follow that and then you'll have to download all the files and patches again for FFXIV. then download your stuff from the cloud and hopefully you should be good to go.
Doesn't the system transfer all saved data with all the games to the new ps4? I don't think I need PlayStation plus to do that. Just double checking, but do I really need PlayStation plus to transfer all my FFXIV data to the new ps4?
