Frontline premades

We can't split queues, that just isn't sustainable.

Make it so that a party of 4 can queue together, but not an entire party, similar-ish to what was done with 8v8 to avoid a group of players stacking vs a bunch of randos.

No, making my own premade won't fix the issue since it won't guarantee I go vs. another premade. Yes, I've been offered to join premade groups but I politely decline for the reason stated below.

I'm more concerned with the longevity of these fast pops. Just like every time Frontline gets popular, premades start popping up and slowly less and less people queue since they're just getting stomped while on a team of randoms (many being beginners due to Garo) while the premade of experienced players are instagibbing healers that dont know how to defend themselves.

Totaly agree with you but how will se make sure that 2 pre made of 4ppl wont be queued together. Pretty sure people will create 2 pre made of 4 ppl to create a full party.I would go even lower and only allow pre made of 2. It will discourage them im pretty sure.

There are ways to manipulate the queue system no matter what you do. Everyone joins the same GC and queues at the same time, voila, you are highly likely to match together.

Encouraging more people to play, more people to try and get better, and maybe even to make their own premades would be a better solution imo. Back when Seal Rock had organized cometeor groups, our Flame pugs traded wins with a 2-3 party Adder premade.

Premades que freelancer option these days. So every GC has a chance to get them. With or without them average win rate is the same so it doesnt provide any disadvantage to a regular player = fair. They may lose against premade but next match premade will fight for their GC and carry them. The only ones who constantly benefit here are premades themselves, but I consider it's a payment for all the extra effort they do, from finding and organizing people to learning and properly using their pvp skills.
Effort should be rewarded, don't you think?

Even if I can agree with that "light party queue" limit, I hate to give more and more restriction to this game.

Anyway especially in a 72 man queue, having a premade group won't make you surely win, it will help, but it's not such a broken mechanic.
In a 24 man FL, I think it will be a problem.

I've been playing with my friends who aren't hardcore pvpers lately a lot. Just for the fun of it. They are not 'pros' and haven't been playing a million years like many premades. We lose more than we win but that just happens because were mostly casual when it comes to pvp and strategies. Restricting us to 4 people would not be fair to friends who just want to play with eachother. We were already happy when GC restriction was lifted and we could FINALLY play together, now restricting us once again would be sad.
Also it's as the person above said: sometimes you might get into a group with that premade since they can que freelance now. Also: I haven't seen a lot of premades lately. Maybe only one match? I haven't been losing because of premades, either, only because of how things have been going.
I like how Frontlines is now I don't want it to change. Only add more rewards and then bring in more players when it begins to slow down after the Garo event has ended.

This appears to be their upcoming solution to Frontlines premades (as well as spawn-camping, apparently...I have never seen anyone actually do this since Seal Rock lol but maybe in other regions it's a thing?).

Reddit translation is here, but the gist is basically that in the future queuing as anything but solo will auto-force you to queue as freelancer, and matchmaking will be changed to prioritize getting multiple teams of 8-man premades on opposing teams, not the same team, to prevent queue abuse. They are also apparently making it so that players don't lose their LB when they get KO'd, which I think is a ludicrous change, but whatev.

I'm glad they're not removing the option to queue as a group, tbh. Might be an unpopular opinion here, but I'd probably quit FLs if I could only queue solo from now on. I don't run with a full 8 group (anywhere from 4-5, I'd say), and nor do I cheese queues to get in with another 8 premade to annihilate both other GCs, so I'm glad they found a solution that addresses that while still allowing me to play with my buds.

JP datacenters are much more savage than NA when it comes to Frontlines. They queue as 24 man and just spawn camp... In NA an 8 man can change the outcome of a match pretty easily. Typical SE just catering to JP play. Not that I care, I don't really Frontlines much, just wanted to point it out.

This is an excellent change as I have experienced all of those things, spawn-camping, imbalance vs premades, etc in frontlines.
