I play on PS4 and I noticed when accessing any kind of sub menu, I cannot quickly select the options using the D-pad. This previously was not a problem and I am wondering if I unknowingly changed a menu option.
The biggest issue is when I want to focus target the boss, but I cannot select focus target unless I use the mouse or touch pad to do so making it extremely inefficient. Anyone else have this problem?

I haven't been on in a few days, but the way I've always done it is to target an enemy and then press square to bring up the menu. Focus Target is at the bottom of that menu, so Square > Up > X gets my focus target set.

Have always used a custom macro with just
/focustarget
target a mob, press macro, focuses, can click it again to cancel it too if needed. -

Man, I love how everyone is eager to post but nobody really cares to read the OP. His problem is that after hitting square, his d-pad no longer easily navigates the sub menu.
The only thing that comes to mind is while playing on the PS4, occasionally my touchscreen would be dirty or smudged with a fingerprint and would register as being "pressed", which seems to shift the input focus away from the menu. Try cleaning your controller touchpad and see if that fixes the issue? -
