Character system messages not showing.

Please help with this situation,

I have tried going through all the chat settings with the cog and tabs, I am talking about specific character system chat messages I always used to get for example:

Whenever I received a commendtion
Whenever I bait my fishing rod

These are only 2 examples that I can think of right now while game is in maintenance.

These are by default a white if not grayish white text.

Please help it has been bugging me for quite some time now and believe me when I say "I have tried going through all the chat settings with cog and tabs".
I have been playing since v1.0 and know my way around settings and UI but this has confounded me!

P.S I have posted this in tech help but to no avail.

Some messages go to "General" tab such that you can't make them go anywhere else or prevent them from showing in "General." Sounds like that's the case with your specific examples.
