Promised App

Can we please get an update on the promised mobile app for accessing fc chat/linkshells, market board, and other aspects of the game when we're not logged in? The last we heard about it was 6+ months ago (spring/summer 2016) when we were told it would be implemented after cross-server PF, but still before expansion.


Details on it as reported from Dualshockers (link), for those who don't remember the Liveletter when it was talked about.

Maybe we'll get an update at an event designed to release information about an upcoming expansion, rather than on a one-off post on the official forums. They're probably not going to make such announcements here.

Fanfest is Feb. 18-19, so wait for that.

Yes, I'm well aware of when EU fanfest is. My purpose of posting and asking this question is to get it in the view of CMs since there is (to my knowledge) no thread for QA questions yet for that event. So hopefully if it isn't on the list of things to talk about, it's seen and either addressed at EU fanfest or a Live Letter soon after.

There's a thread asking for questions for the live letter at the upcoming fan fest, so it'd be better to ask your question there.
