Uh...getting what we pay for?

I'm paying for a service from Square Enix Final Fantasy XIV. I expect more than a generic "sorry the server's full" message when I log on to this game. It makes me wonder what the company is doing with all that money...I see a lot of eye candy, but this hardware in relation to how many tickets you've sold on the airline smacks of knowing you've fewer seats than the tickets you've sold. We all know what that is called in contract law.

I'm not going to beg, or plea, or wish here. I'm advising you, provide the service we've paid for.

To be honest. We DO get what we pay for. We get new content every 3 months. An full content at that. An a mid patch in between. We already have one expansion, an another fueled with amazing content. We get good action toward bots and gil sellers. We get a lot more than most mmos. I played Blade and Soul a bit. Those ques were FAR worse. Sitting in a que for almost an hour or two. Don't say we don't get what we payed for. Because we surely do. The data center is down it happens.

honestly, I just came back after almost a year break. And my wife came back after quiting 90 days after the game came out. And there is so much to do now compared to when i quit it's amazing. Even WoW (which i quit just a few months ago to come back here) has the same issues and quite frankly less content then we do here.

I have played free-to-play MMORPGs that had more stable servers. So, I sort of agree with OP.

Just click cancel and then your character name. Also the server isn't full its probably just an area that you are logging into. Now if your was on Bismark then I would say good luck :P
