PVP Questions

Hello awesome people!

I have a few questions about PVP, hoping some of you veterans can help out.

1. As a new PVP player (lvl 60) would it be better to craft lvl 50 PVP gear, or go in with normal lvl 60 gear until I have marks for gear?

2. Is PVP gear only for PVP (I know it probably is, but thought I'd ask)

3. Any tips for a new PVP player (heals) ? Other than follow group, heal people and use the PVP skills ?

1. The crafted level 50 PvP-gear is faaar to superior to your normal gear, and honestly you dont even need PvP-gear in most PvP. Your best PvE-gear is totally fine!

2. The Feast (and Fold) is purely PvP, frontlines has PvE-elements aswell and people might even focus on them. Please note that as a healer you can not use cleric stance so your damage-contribution is a lot lower than in PvE

3. Wear some tank-jewls to buff your HP - getting above 10k HP allows you to survive melee-LBs and the loss in healing and MP is totally fine. Make yourself familiar with your PvP-skills, there are some real lifesafers amongst them! (As a whm people will hate you for using fluid aura, but since you battle them, its okay that they hate you!) Healing can get pretty hectic, too, so dont be discouraged if you need a few games to get into it!

Just to emphasize a tip do NOT go to the front line when DPS are fighting unless you got a swiftcast holy ready (maybe not even then). The moment you do the other team will slap you with a <1> and pile on you despite all the DPS/Tanks around. The moment I see that I mark em and we kill em, its funny how fast dps start to die when no healers around. :3

Thank you for the replies! You sure are popular as a heals, haha. I get chained more than a Dominatrix at a convention, LOL. It is super fun though !!

As long as your gear is over i150 it doesn't really matter what you wear, but know that you can swap in some lower ilvl items with better secondary stats than higher ilvl gear.
Also a reminder to not use your PvE res in PvP.
