Please fix Filibuster's Hood of Healing on Lalafells and Au Ras!

Hello!

Patch 3.5 added the Filibuster gear that drops from the new level 60 dungeons. It's an awesome looking gear and I was looking forward to glamour it, but the Filibuster's Hood of Heling looks extremely weird when equipped:

It looks like my ears were cut off and someone sewed fake ones in the hood. A simple fix would be adding something like the Orison Hood's inner protection to the Filibuster's Hood.

This would make the gear look SO MUCH better on lalafells and elezens (and other pointy-eared races).

Now to the Au Ras... How is this okay?

Again, the solution would be doing the same as the Orison Hood: make the sides of the Filibuster's Hood of Healing closer to the face, so Au Ra horns won't clip.

Please devs take a look at this! I think it's not a lot of work to fix, especially for a pretty sweet and original set of gear like this.

Welcome to clipping fantasy xiv.

I doubt they will change the hood at all. Then people would expect them to fix the hundreds of other things that clip. Their stance is usually "we'd rather focus on making new gear than go back to fix old gear".

But this is not "old gear". If they are focusing on creating more gear that clips, they should really reavaluate their work.

It's old in that they already finished making it.

They've been creating new gear that clips since the launch of 2.0 when they decided to stop making different versions for different races and just give us the hyur model.

Most medium hair clips through high collars, all long hair clips with something (I think there was a femroe style that clipped into their own bodies), robes and tank butt-curtains clip with tails, big weapons clip through big hats.

I'm not trying to argue that it's fine, I wish they would stop making things that clip and fix things that do, but I don't think they will. I don't think it's a high priority for them or most of the players.

Sounds like you're trying to trick OP into giving the identity away. Don't give in OP! Keep those eyes blocked.

Suddenly i'm reminded one of the main reasons why i simply find an Au ra unplayable.
