LF high skill players for filling out raid roster

We are 3 new players (< 2 months) around iLvl 240 currently LFM to fill out our roster for raiding. We have our own rank 8 FC named "Old & Washed Up" <<GG EZ>>.

We have reached Alexander savage and have decided it would be much easier to have more dedicated raiders instead of using duty finder and party finder.

About Us:

We met at the release of GW2 and have been gaming together ever since (our team named was Pancakes to Celebrate if anyone followed the PvP scene at release you would know us). We are high skilled individuals that have played at the very top of multiple different genres of games, but MMOs have been our passion.

Currently our team comp is:

• Lil Payne - Healer (primarily AST, but also has scholar)
• General Bootypop - DPS (Machinist/bard, leveling summoner)
• Lord-pretty Flacko - DPS (monk, may eventually level black mage)
• Gnar Shredder - DPS (blm)
• Aesir Tyar - tank (paladin)
• Crazy Bakas - tank (war)

We are looking for:

All roles, but preferably Payne wants to play scholar as his healer.

We are recruiting almost solely based on INDIVIDUAL SKILL LEVEL.

We have pretty high standards when it comes to skill level. Our two DPS players consistently hit maximum possible DPS for their gear levels. If you can consistently out DPS us you for sure will be recruited (it doesnt happen).

We don't care if you have experience in this game or not. Experience in raiding in general is preferred but not mandatory; completely dependent on how skilled we deem you are. We have no problem helping you gear up if you meet the level for which we are recruiting.

We expect very high DPS while also having great raid awareness. We do have a "raid leader" for calling mechanics, but we expect you to learn from your mistakes quickly.

Raiding Times:

To be determined. Two of us live in central time zone, and the third lives in Eastern time zone. We are all pretty flexible with times, we will decide raiding times when we get more people.

Alright so I am absolutely interested in speaking with you at some point soon. I will explain about myself in detail when we talk, but a quick break down just to let you know where I stand:

I have played multiple MMOs, always a Paladin, or at least a tank. Always competitive, played with the same raid team in WoW for over 5 years. Always looking to perfect my character, through gear, rotation, and over all skill.

I jumped into this game about a month ago, and am currently part of my real life friend's FC. They are a weekly Savage clear. They have been helping me and teaching me but they suggested I look for a static to sign up with that is new and trying to form a team and learn together.

Ok so maybe that wasn't exactly quick but basically I am interested, love what you are about, and would definitely want to talk more about this.

Hi there, your group sounds like something right up my alley. What makes an MMO fun for me is learning to perfect my class and role in high skill level raids. I recently got back into the game and I'm rushing to get my paladin ready for raids. As of right now my pld is only ilvl 177, but I only hit lvl 60 the day before yesterday. I plan on getting my 230 gear by tomorrow to give you an idea of how fast I plan on getting geared.

I see that you already have a paladin player applying and if you decide to add him to your roster I am willing to rush another tank class if need be. I work from 2pm-11pm CST with two days off a week. I can request certain days off for my weekends to match raid schedule if need be as well. I am currently on Diabolos server, but willing to transfer if you decide to add me to the roster in the future.

If my ilvl is a concern I am more than willing to run some dundeons so you can get an idea of if my skill level is up to par for your group.

Hey Crazy Bakas, thanks for the reply, we are definitely interested.

Nothing is set in stone as of yet, but if we do have a paladin, the optimal second tank would be a warrior.

As for gearing up, all three of us can certainly help you this weekend as a way to get to know you as well. We can make a cross server party through party finder now :)

Thanks for getting back to me so fast. I'll be on after 11 cst tonight until around 4am or so. I'm still working on unlocking all of the content but I'm down to run what I can with you guys to see if we mesh well as a team. I'll stick with the PLD for now but the WAR is very interesting to me so it's no big deal if the team wants me to main that.

We'll help you run whatever you need bro it doesn't matter what. We are all at the point where we just basically have to wait for scripture and alex savage for better gear. We are all on right now, and if you end up transferring over to cactuar we got an FC and/or linkshell to communicate.

The one thing you might like about warrior is that it has the highest dps potential of all the tanks, which (in my definition cause im a dps) means higher skill ceiling

Edit: Also Bakas, do you have any communication such as skype or steam we can add you on to communicate easier seeing as you are on a different server? Thanks!

Please everyone, as much as I wish it were true, please don't take what our lord and savior God Zclipse is saying as truth. He has long since retired from MMOs, which is really all you can do once you have proven to be the very best in every MMO you've ever played.
