Punish ppl more harshly for abandoning dungeons i.e Dun Scaith or change the system.

Getting really sick of going in Dun Scaith and people leaving after they get their drop on the first/second boss. This means I now have to compete with a new healer multiple times.

Many people are getting annoyed with this and it is harassment. I personally think that all drops should be removed to the end of the raid and just hand out tokens to trade in.

Even give bigger rewards at the end or at the very least give mhachi matter every run. Yes I know it will be unlocked later on but what's the point having it on weekly, when there is far easier ways to get a piece of materia anyway.

Meh. I don't mind it. I don't abandon after getting a drop myself, but I love joining a raid in-progress. I haven't had much difficulty finding new people when they drop either. I'd be afraid of people going afk or trolling to get kicked, if the penalty was too steep. That would be worse than people abandoning.

First, it's not harassment. Go grab a dictionary and calm down.

Second, it gives an opportunity for players to join in progress, which is always a nice surprise. It's not like the parties stay empty. The only time that happens is when the party leader doesn't requeue the party.

Third, welcome to 2015. This has been happening for 6 24 man raids now.

I don't see how anyone can be ok with this. i.e. you start dungeon with only one caster to need against, they get their piece and leave resulting in two others leaving as they can’t get the piece they want.

Now you are competing against 3 casters to get a piece of gear. All because of some greedy/selfish p***k leaving.

I am aware it's been happening for a while but this raid it has been 100% worse.

I've not found it any worse than any other raid.
If you want the least chance of it happening, play on the weekly reset day. People will want to complete it for their coin.

Until the devs move all rewards to the final boss, you will always see people leave.

If they don't want to be in the group and they aren't going to contribute 100%, then I would rather have them leave and accept a penalty. No use in forcing them to stick around if they don't want to be there.

It isn't harassment, quit playing the victim.

Its not worse, it was the same for every 24 man raid.

I can understand people who leave after the second boss if they got their loot or if they didn't get their loot. You never know how many times they've run that in this week.

You are entitled to nothing. Seriously. How can you come to the forum to cry about something this insane.

1st. If they are leaving mid raid, there is a high likelihood they already cleared it at least once getting nothing, very likely rolling against people and losing too.

2nd. They are opening spots to be taken mid raid by people who may only need a chest from the last boss or may not need anything at all and just want to clear.

This is good for community as a whole. Don't be a selfish whiner because someone rolled higher than you then didn't feel obligated to hold a spot in a raid someone else could clearly use. Get over yourself. What is good for the community may not be the most ideal situation for you. In fact it usually isn't. Better suck it up buttercup, because this will not change. This is life.
