Loss of item and materia with a full inventory.

I don't know if this is a bug or if it's working as intended.

I tried converting a pair of Cobalt Gauntlets with a +65 HP materia in it into Materia and my inventory was full.

I lost the gauntlets but didn't receive a materia. My fault for not paying full attention I suppose, but just thought I'd bring it up. Thanks for your time.

surely if you have a full inventory 200 take your gauntlets out that leave you 199 spaces change your gloves to materia, and put it in your inventory, that should put you back to 200

seems like a bug to me, i would be very upset

I was thinking the same thing. I am wondering, Alerith, Were you attacked as you converted the gear? Because I have done it many times,

1. Begin to spiritbond gear
2. Mobs aggro me, or spawn and aggro.
3. Mob hits me, cancelling my characters on screen action and the message of spiritbond.
4. Check inventory, and a new materia is there anyway

If you still had 200/200 after a piece of gear disapeared, I think you did make the materia but were not informed.

If you were not attacked however, Then I have no idea what happened.

I was not under attack. The area had been freshly cleared prior to me attempting to convert the gauntlets into materia. Also, in the event I simply had not been notified, I rechecked my inventory and no new materia was present. I had 199 spaces after converting my gauntlets.
