User Interfasce Addition request

Hi, I would like SE to take some time to consider adding these options to the UI in order to improve player experience and customization of their UI

Improved Group Frame
- Ability to hide mana and tp bar of other party member.
Most job don’t have the necessity to see both bar if any bar at all as they’ve no control over these resources. Being able to remove these would free up some screen space and remove useless information.
- Ability to control resource bar display
Some player need to see other player resources but perhaps not as a full bar as these informations are not as important as the other players HP for instance.

- Ability to set different group layout
Currently, group is displayed in a 1x8 fashion and alliance group in a 4x2. It would be great to allow the player to also set their main party in different layout, 4x2, 2x4 and 8x1 (reversed order).

-Buff filtering and priority :
Ability to remove selected other players buff in order to see important information such as HoT duration and debuff.
A scrolling menu could show which buff are allowed to be shown or not

Ability to set which comes first, either buff or debuff

Ability to show if a buff is missing, a scrolling menu could show which buff are missing. Notably protect so that we know if someone has no protect, but it's not shown when they have it

I'd like Shadowed Unit Frames too.

I like your ideas, if not necessarily your color selection (ouch! can you READ that?). Unfortunately this falls squarely into the category of "you could do this with an addon api but the dev team shouldn't be wasting its time with..."

If only SE had promised something addon API related before ARR launched in 2013... hmm...

Well, for the color, I expect square enix artist to do a far better job than me.
Photoshop isn't really part of my skill set.
I have to agree the color distribution does burns one's retina xD

I personally don't mind having no addons. But I mind the lack of customization because there are no addons.
They keep adding stuff and updating the UI. But there are some very basic feature that should have made it to the game much earlier.
Last patc ability to change action bar format for instance.

Seeing all three bars for each party member might not be required for everyone, but it is necessary for some people to do their jobs. If toggles are implemented to hide MP or TP bars, then they should be non-optional for jobs that have support abilities that affect MP or TP -- BRDs, MCHs, NINs, and ASTs should be forced to keep TP bars visible, and BRDs, MCHs, and ASTs should be forced to keep MP bars visible, so that people not fulfilling their support roles because "bars turned off, sry" isn't a thing.

I think we only missing the dps meter. ^^;

Wouldn't mind a nice clickbind interface for healing (and no, mouseover macros don't count.. I can't queue abilities with macros). Also my quest log is a mess; wouldn't mind fixing that up... All sorts of things I'd like to tweak about my UI.

I agree, but a full bar is not really necessary. I'd rather have a small number telling me the remaining percentage so I know their state.

My main concern is that it takes up screen space.
