The Fold Ranked

IDK if im the only one on xiv that prefers fold over feast but would anyone else love to see a Fold Ranked? I think itd be a pretty awesome addition. Thoughts if it should be 60 or 50 cap, etc?

30, 40, 50, 60 rankeds, the first 3 would probably have really long queues or no queues at all.

lv60 fold ranked might be an idea, people gonna hate those black mages lol

No Fell Cleaves, Deathflares, Tetras, Clemency or any 52+ skills make lv50 mode too boring now. The arena is boring too so even lv60 will not save it.

How about some new fun modes like in shooters. A deathmatch, one against all. The first player to score 10 kills wins the round. Might as well give healers Cleric Stance back for it.

I'd really like a level 60 Ranked Fold. I don't really like the Feast.

People look at the fold with rosey tinted glasses. Either both healers were gods and the matches took 1hr, or the healers just got trained until one died. The common (untrue) complaint about healer determining the game in feast would actually be true about healer in level 60 fold. People love mindless DM though, so maybe there should just be a mindless DM arena, could just sync and duel now though.

No I just don't like Feast. The fold is more fun for me.

Ranked competition honestly just doesn't belong in this game period, regardless of whether it's in the feast or the fold. It just doesn't fit with the vision the devs have for this game in it being akin to an amusement park utopia where players go around playing all of its attractions carefree and with no fear of criticism or expectations to maintain and uphold a certain threshold of competence to overcome challenges (see echo as well nerfs to a variety of instances such as steps of faith). Not only that but the population in this game that actually legitimately enjoys pvp'ing is just top small. By all accounts light party ranked feast should be the REAL ranked pvp in this game since it eliminates the randomness of having different teammates every match but so few people even care about it compared to solo ranked

I don't have a lot of love for Wolves Den because of how repetitive it is, but I agree completely that there should be a lvl 60 version of it. That said, even if they did bump it up to 60, there is no way in hell that it should be ranked. SE has already proven that they have no idea how to properly manage a ranking system in PvP. It would be redundant to try it again, especially in something as mindless as Wolves Den.

The only bad thing about dead Wolfs Den is Ravenous Wolf and Alpha Wolf titles are practically unobtainable till servers shutdown. They should have united them with The Feast achievements, I bet some players have 5k matches/wins there and qualify, yet the top achievement for The Feast is only 1k wins.
They are dropping Frontlines and possibly The Feast in 4.x for new type of pvp they are working on and their achievements/titles will be realistically unobtainable as well as nobody will bother with old modes aside from some short-living weekly event. Everyone will spam lv70 PvP and will not look back.

Maybe if they drop comp feast fora new mode. They can add a 4 man pvp roulette for either feast 4v4 or fold casual matches. So player will be doing them still.
