Further Interior Customization

Would it be at all possible to customize our interiors further, mainly by not have them region locked.

For instance I love Mist but I prefer the interiors, mainly the set things like embedded pillars, wainscoting and railings of Lavender Beds more. Is there a reason these are region locked? I can see it for exteriors to a point but even there we have many exteriors that are not region locked, so why are our interiors still locked and why? It makes little sense.

Also can we have more creative control over these embedded features? Like adding more customization, replace the embedded pillars with chocobo pillars or the new ivy ones.

I would be happy with a removal or zone restriction period but more customization would be wonderful overall.
