Controller seeing L2 as a 'move forward' button, not sure what changed?

So my controller has improved my quality of gaming wonderfully, its fantastic and all of that but suddenly its deciding that holding down the left trigger(L2) = run right forward. If i change to l1 its fixed but id rather keep both l2 and r2 as the buttons i use for this.

I didn't realize this was as bad an issue until i went to highlight my skills on the left and ran right off Levi's boat.

I have no idea how to fix this and checking the configuration isn't helping at all. I haven't changed anything.

:( What am i doing wrong?
